2. Scope of this notice
This notice applies when you visit this website, contact us, request a demonstration, discuss a pilot or otherwise communicate with K1ND about the business.
The public website does not currently provide live user accounts, identity verification, player messaging or production moderation services. Before any such service launches, we will provide additional product-specific privacy information covering those activities, including any processing involving children, identity checks or safeguarding data.
3. Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact details, such as your name, work email address, telephone number and organisation.
- Enquiry and correspondence information, including the content of emails, meeting notes and information you choose to provide.
- Professional information, such as your role, organisation and areas of interest where relevant to a proposed demonstration, pilot or partnership.
- Technical information, such as IP address, browser information, device information and security or server logs processed by our hosting and infrastructure providers.
Please do not send special category information or other highly sensitive personal information through a general website enquiry unless it is necessary and you have agreed this with us.
4. How and why we use personal information
| Purpose | Typical information | UK GDPR lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| Responding to enquiries and arranging demonstrations | Contact, organisation and correspondence details | Legitimate interests; and steps at your request before entering a contract where applicable |
| Discussing pilots, partnerships, investment or supplier relationships | Professional details, correspondence and meeting notes | Legitimate interests; contract or pre-contract steps where applicable |
| Operating, securing and improving the website | Technical and security information | Legitimate interests in maintaining a secure and effective website |
| Meeting legal, regulatory and safeguarding obligations | Relevant records and correspondence | Legal obligation; legitimate interests; and, where relevant, protection of vital interests |
| Sending optional business updates | Name, email and preferences | Consent where required, or legitimate interests where electronic marketing rules permit |
6. International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data protection law requires safeguards, we will use an adequacy regulation, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to approved contractual clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism.
7. How long we keep information
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including:
- general enquiries: normally up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact;
- contractual, financial and company records: normally up to six years, or longer where legally required;
- security and server logs: according to the retention periods of the relevant infrastructure provider and our security needs.
We may retain a limited record for longer where needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
8. Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of your personal information. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
To exercise a right, email nc@k1nd.world. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
9. Marketing communications
We will not send unsolicited electronic marketing unless permitted by applicable law. You can opt out of optional updates at any time by replying to the message or contacting us.
10. Children
This corporate website is not designed to collect personal information directly from children. The planned K1ND platform is intended to include specific age-appropriate safeguards; separate privacy information and governance will be introduced before any under-18 service becomes operational.
11. Automated decision-making
This website does not make decisions about you using solely automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Product demonstrations may illustrate AI-assisted moderation, but the public website itself does not run production moderation or identity-verification decisions.
13. Questions and complaints
Please contact us first at nc@k1nd.world so we can try to resolve your concern.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK supervisory authority for data protection. Information is available at ico.org.uk.
14. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the website, business or law changes. The latest version will always appear on this page with the updated date.
